Angel supercharged

Supercharged.TV did an interview with Angel a.k.a. PJ Frith member of TBH.
This man taught me how to draw properly at my internship at TBH-Q (props go out to ICE too for digitizing artwork and colouring).

Solemart 2011 in Eindhoven was a blast!
Thank you to everyone who took their time out to visit/buy/trade/browse/swap/chill, we are thankful.

Daily Essentials

On several websites and social-media sites i've seen numerous photographs passing by depicting the daily essentials people have on them.
I remember a TV-show where passers-by were asked to empty their pockets or bag to show what they were carrying around, with interesting results i might add.
These are my essentials:





















The North Face Surge-backpack to carry an extra pair of shoes and lunchbox when i have to work at the store, Moleskine sketch-/notebook for quick little doodles and brainfarts, bankcard-holder which holds the important ones, Blackberry Bold 9700, keys so i can lock my house and bike and get back in again, iPod touch 8GB with assorted tunes, stylus Intuos2 for mostly Photoshop & Illustrator work, Artline 0.8 drawingpen when i'm outlining my sketches and finals, Nixon 51-30 watch, Fiat500 carkey, Pentel Techniclick G 0.5 for sketching using non-repro blue fills and sketch blackbook for bigger ideas.

The Kwills x Los Eindjeles pack

Kwills celebrates the fact that Solemart is making its way to Eindhoven, the Netherlands in 2011.
To commemorate this event, Q drew up and designed a custom t-shirt and a LE-cap.















The t-shirt is available in the sizes going from Small up to XXLarge.
35 t-shirts have been printed, going for € 25 each.

The cap is a custom New Era 59/50-cap available in the sizes 7 1/8, 7 1/4, 7 3/8, 7 1/2 & 7 5/8.
These are limited to 20 pieces, € 45 each.

The fun doesn't stop here, if you buy the t-shirt & the cap together at his Solemart-stand, for € 20 extra Q will paint an original sketch on canvas (40cm x 30cm) of the shoes the customer is wearing at that very moment making this an unique offer & happening on Solemart.

DeltaInc expo Eindhoven

Last night was DeltaInc's opening for his exhibition 'Exothermic' in de Fabriek, Eindhoven.
It runs untill the 19th of December 2010 so be sure catch it.

If you're familiar with DeltaInc's work this is next-level evolution. He took his spraypainted 3D-graff style from the wall and built it into an actual wall.
He just built a wall from scratch with different coloured layers on top of eachother and in the end covering certain areas.
It really just blew me away to see his graff-style come to life, you can touch it, have a look inside of it and just keep discovering new things.

Solemart 2011: Eindhoven, NL

For those not familiar with Solemart.
It is a mart for sneaker-aficionados to sell/buy/trade their sneakers BUT also for just having a good time whether you're into sneakers or not.
The first edition was hosted by Solebox in Berlin and after a Paris edition it's now coming to Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
More info is coming soon your way.
Yours truly did the teaser and is currently working on the official flyer.

Kickback Berlin closing doors

Was a bit shocked to say the least to find out through KBB's blog they're closing down at the end of this month.
I had the opportunity to design their new logo a few years ago which still stands to this day and i am proud to have been a little part of it.
I wish Seb and the team all the best for any future endeavours.

It's official

As of yesterday, i'm a married man.
Being together with my wife for more than 14 years it was a logical step to tie the knot.

Ok. So Megan Fox leaving the franchise is not going to be the end of the world. It does however bring with it the end of our Megan tees, well, after this lot anyway...

After an overwhelming request for the first Megan tee, well after it was SOLD OUT! We decided that along with the new one, we would make the OG one available too. Only this time with a slight twist...

These tees will go into production end of the month and will be available in lots of 40 each.

If all goes to plan, it'll be broken up like so;
