Cool speedpainting clip

Through the SnkrFrkr-forum i came across this new blog called 13itches which has cool clip of an artist on it which i like to share with you.

From the 13itches-blog:

"Anyway I’ve been checking out the Upper Playground artists for a while now, and a dude that has really caught my attention is Alex Pardee. His paintings often display messed up monster type characters that are contrasted by the use of light, warm, pastel colours… I really like the way he outlines his characters with black ink, his line work is nice and smooth, while his use of colour often gives a perception of parodic raw emotion… I’m a fan… he’s collaborated with brands like Hurley and has done artwork for bands such as IN FLAMES Checkout this speed painting clip of Alex doing his thing."

Official drop of True 2

Dear friends, artists, skateboarders, mediapartners, life-enjoyers, team-managers, retailers, shopowners and everyone who i might have forgotten.

After a long stretch of hard work, shooting loads of photos, doing interviews and no sleep, the second issue of True Magazine has been materialized. After a succesfull start in which issue one has been viewed more than 25,000 times, we were extra motivated to step up a few notches for the second installment.
We got flooded with lots of feedback and reactions like 'Super', 'Awesomely super', 'Dope shit dudes', ' Southside represent' and what not.
With those kind of responses we had to pull through and live up to the expectations created.

What is in store for you regarding issue 2? Well, a lot.
Firstly we interviewed not one but two skateboarders and also took them along to pull off dangerous acrobatics for you.
We also got a team-checkout with the Area51-team. Uhm yes, you read that correctly, skatepark Area51 has their own skateteam.

We visited two respected artists. And great Scott, we saw some amazing work. It's incredible what some people can pull off with just a single sheet of paper and a pencil. Also amazing results were achieved with the usage of a videocamera. Read along quickly to find out who we're talking about.

We spent some visits to various retailers in the Netherlands to give you a preview what will be in store for this summer. If your money is eager to jump out of your wallet, check the magazine.

And last but not least, our competition! Altamont was so kind enough to have us give away 5 t-shirts to the people who know the correct answer to the question. What's the question, you say? Well, check out www.true-magazine.eu to find out and win that t-shirt. The five winners will be contacted and it won't help to hassle us.
