Last friday i completed this t-shirt for a colleague of mine.
She asked me awhile ago if i could design a rose for her with certain personal elements in it.
When she showed the design to a tattoo-artist it got quickly rejected because the centre of the rose would melt together into one big black blob of ink over due time.
So, to not let this design die a lonely death i opted to make it into a t-shirt design for her on the very place it was intended to be inked on her body.
She liked it very much to say the least, judging from the pic.

Project 4000
Mate of mine started another blog with his mate and he wanted it to share it with me.
So i'm sharing it with you to let you know what's going down down under if you're interested in that kinda thing (no not down under as in underpants but Brisbane, Australia).

The Last Airbender
Well i was browsing though some trailers at the apple-site and came across this one.
M. Night Shyamalan is taking on Avatar: The Last Airbender (movie is based on the cartoon and he can't use Avatar because another movie is coming out with that same name) and from the looks of it now i like it.
But having watched the cartoon it could be a very funny movie more suitable for children and non-grown up adults like myself but the trailer is a more serious one.
So i don't know what to expect as long as it doesn't go the route of Dragonball but we'll see in Summer of 2010.

Animation in videos be it small or big
Back in the days i used to love to watch different music-shows on MTV like Headbanger's Ball, YO! MTV Raps and a dutch music channel where you could just text through the number of your favorite song by phone and it would get played within 5 minutes.
That channel was a good feeding ground for the latest videos and the ones that always stuck to me were the ones where some animation was involved.
I'm not on a quest here, just want to show you what i dug/dig :)
First up is Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer, always was intrigued by the whole stopmotion and how much time it would've cost to create it:
Tool 'Sober' was always playing on Headbanger's Ball and every time i saw it it gave me the creeps but i kept watching anyway because i was intrigued. I think that is what Tool also is , creepy yet intriguing.
Sick of It All 'District', i remember seeing that one late at night in a dimly lit room and it exploded from the screen. You always see hardcore-bands doing tough-looking videos but SOIA upped the ante to do an animated video which sets them apart. And to this day i still love them for doing something else than the rest.
Company Flow 'End to End Burners' with the flying tags which blew me away when i saw it for the first time. It always makes me grab some markers and tag the sh*t out of everything haha
Also can't forget Gorillaz with 'Clint Eastwood'. Such an awesome animation by the hands of Jamie Hewlett. Still love it!
There are more out there but these ones are the first to pop into my memory.
If i think of more i'll definitely post them :)
