Skate 4 Cancer

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today i got this Skate4Cancer t-shirt in.

Skate4Cancer was founded by Rob Dyer in the United States, he skated from one side of the country to the other side to raise money for research and education.
On his way he visited schools and hospitals.

This site is around for a while but deserves more exposure.
Everyone has lost a family-member, dear friend to this disease, myself included.
This foundation develops (amongst other things) programs for schools to help discover cancer in an early stage.

In the Netherlands, Wing Mok has taken this initiative upon himself after he lost his brother to cancer.
So get educated, buy a t-shirt or donate money.

Kwillshop

Busy with all sorts of things; ranging from logo-designs to paintings, sketching to shirt-designs.
As of today a shop is included on my site.
At the moment 2 paintings and the sketchbooklet are on it.
More things will be added this year so keep an eye out.

Kwills dipped in ink

I'm usually not too fond of showing off my tattoos but this one i'm very proud of, it represents a lot for and of me.

The thoughts behind it are:
- As i searched for a good name as an illustrator, it was obvious the best thing to do is use my own name. What happened was when i combined my name 'Quincy' and 'Illustrations/Illustrator', it created the word 'Quills' hence the quill-shape.
- Also the quill is drawn as the letter 'Q'.
- The place on the wrist is because the tip of the quill is on top of a vein. My art flows through my veins and out of hand.

Guitar Gorilla custom

Just finished this little custom-project.
Someone wanted the cover of my sketchbooklet on his (busted) guitar and he was asking me all sorts of questions on how to apply it.
So i offered i'd do it for him so he really has an original piece of art.

Posca markers on guitar.
